I love this app! Its recognition of math equations is amazing. The only reason I didnt rate it 5 stars is that I see some room for improvement. It would be wonderful if it allowed you to input multiple lines of a solution and allowed you to centre it at the equal sign.

I use LaTeX for all my technical documents. This product is fantastic. It saves me a lot of time coding complex equations. Sometimes (by that I mean rarely) a slight adjustment in the code is required depending on the vintage of your LaTeX typesetter, but its really inconsequential! Its also very useful for importing complex equations into PowerPoint presentations. If you teach math or science, you should have this app. TS

The handwriting recognition is amazing! It writes smoothly and recognizes characters accurately. That being said, however, the app DEFINITELY needs to allow users to add multiple lines of equations, giving them the ability to write out full solutions to math problems. That function would take this app to the next level in my honest opinion. I would pay for the app if it had that function!!

Wonderful editor. Beats all other TeX editors -- I have tried them all.

4 stars until there is support to easily export to word. Will buy once this feature is added

Good app, but you need tu pay 3$ to export an equation tu an other app that will give you the answer ( that app that makes calcules cost less than that...).

As a LaTex beginner I find this app immensely helpful, as it saved me sooooo much time from looking up math symbols,5+ stars!

Please, add equation systems.

I would like the translator to turn the formula into latex using a button and not automatically. When I write a long formula the app automatically turns a first part of it into latex, taking almost the whole sheet and making it very hard to continue writing the formula. I could not find any way to scroll the page on the right and keep writing the formula. I wanted to use it to sketch the formulas by hand and having them automatically turned into latex code ready to use in my papers, but if I cannot write a full formula because the app keeps turning it into typewritten fonts automatically and taking the whole screen it makes the whole process very cumbersome and turning a potentially wonderful app into not more than just a toy.

Im sorry to read here that people voted this app 1 star cause they thought this was a calculator. So sad. Anyway I find this app very usefull cause otherwise i couldnt write any formula in my ipad while working on my notes. I only have a suggestion for you. Sometimes i find difficult to write the right character. I.e. I had difficulties writing "q" cause usually the app sensed "9". Maybe you should set a tutorial about how to write certain characters or improve the tracking. I hope my english was good enough for you to understand

It didnt solve the equation or anything, you just type the equation and thats it, nothing else.its useless, at least to me. They should fix that.

Its alright , but I wish it would solve. Im currently doing precalculus and thought it would help solve things using formulas I cant do with my ti84. (we use nspire calculators in class. Id buy one, but those arent cheap)

This app is a great Latex equation editor, but need to be improved. I think zoom function is very important when editing complex equations.

Should combined this app and calculator together

As a teacher, LOVE being able to write equations on my iPad and easily include them in mobile learning apps. For my students with special needs and even regular ed students, great way for them to communicate in "math" even when their handwriting is poor or lacks details. The translation of their math language makes it easier for them to notice mistakes. Would LOVE a way for them to write and create a step-by-step record of the steps they use to solve a problem instead of having to paste them in another app.Thank you!
